My name is Blaze, a soft and lovely tortoise shell cat full of surprises. I'm very friendly, especially when getting my chin and ears scratched. I live in a foster home with my foster mom and two dogs. I really love the dogs in my foster home, because they are older and laid-back, and we can relax together. I'm not really crazy about younger, hyper dogs, though. That's just too much commotion for me. I sleep in bed with my foster mom and both dogs at night. I really like to snuggle in my foster mom's arms under the covers at night and I give her the sweetest kisses in the morning when we wake up. My favorite spot is my foster mom's lap. I get so comfortable that I purr and even drool a little. I used to live with another cat and did well with her for a couple of years. Other cats just have to understand that I'm alpha cat and I'm in charge. If they respect that, then we can be friends. When I'm not cat napping or hanging out with my canine friends, I love to get belly rubs. Another thing I really like to do is watch the water run when my foster mom fills up the tub.
